Hello, This is Ujjwal and today I am introducing the most trending inks Distress Oxides and 7 different background techniques to help you create the most amazing backgrounds for your cards and layouts.
One of the things that got me hooked to Distress Oxides was the easy to blend 2 colors together. It is so effortless to seamlessly blend the colors because the ink stays wet longer and you can work on it for a longer time.
Of course, it retains the original qualities of Distress Inks and reacts with water even more beautifully, leaving an oxidized look when splattered with water.
And they work really well with other watercolor techniques like watercolor washes and smooshes.
Another thing that is really impressive about the Distress Oxides is the fact that they work so well for stamping as well. The impression is so crisp and clean and because they are thick, they leave an almost raised effect.
And they are perfect for heat embossing techniques like emboss resist as well. They stay wet longer and are able to hold the embossing powder easily, making them so versatile.
So basically, these inks are the solution to everything. You get the best of both worlds (water-based dye inks & pigment inks) with these inks. And once you give them a try, I am sure you will be hooked just like I am.

I hope you enjoyed this post!
