I am…

I am brave

Hello, it’s Ujjwal and we are here to welcome the month of March with the return of Monthly Challenges at PPS. Yay!

Since it’s International Women’s Day on the 8th of March, we have decided to celebrate the special women in your life by creating something special for her this month.

Even though I really look up to both my moms  (my mother and mother-in-law) as they are two very special and exceptional ladies, I took this opportunity to create something for me. I think it is as important to admire yourself at least once a while as it is to admire others for their capabilities and qualities.

Here is how I made the canvas wall art that I plan on framing and putting in

I love how it turned out but if I have to do it again, I would change my paint mediums. Go with either all chalkboard paints or all mists.  It is not a great idea to mix the two because it takes forever to dry as the the chalkboard paint makes the surface non-porous. I hope this little tip helps.

Here’s how to join…
