Prima Marketing Mini Knobs
Prima Marketing Barn Stars
Little B Decorative Foiled Tape- Merry Christmas
TimHoltz Layered Stencil – Flourish
Memory And Scrapbooking Frame
Lets’s get started with the procedure.
I have chosen to decorate the base of the shadow box using the Prima Wild and Free Collection 12×12″ Cosmic Light Designer paper and to house the Wreath inside it.
Used the flourish stencil and Light paste to add decorative corners to the base. Then wrapped pip berries around the wreath. I have decided not to add the glass which comes with the shadow box, as this project is quite 3 Dimensional.
Next, made a small spherical shaker element to add to the middle of the wreath. Took deer family diecuts in kraft cardstock, gold heat embossed randomly. Took a round kraft diecut, using Versamark pen drew some trees, and snowbanks and white heat embossed it to mimic the snow laden background scene. Then added the deer diecuts and applied Prima light paste and sprinkled some ice shavings to mimic the ice. Added the Woodgrain foiled sticker centrally and sealed the shaker dome with adhesive.
Roughly marked the centre and placed the shaker dome to the shadow frame and wrapped around cheesecloth for added interest.
Now added the wreath to the shadow frame housing the shaker dome. I decided to leave the wreath in its natural straw color as it close to our challenge theme: Gold.
Took some burlap roses kraft and white and gold embossed them. Chosen few holiday greens diecut and colored them using Distress oxide : Iced Spruce, Peeled Paint. Adhered them on them wreath using Hotglue gun as shown in the picture.
Took Prima Barn star and Knobs, black gessoed it and added Golden wax form my stash. Added the knot, one centrally to the star and another to the kraft bow added near the floral cluster. Added randomly red punched dots to the floral clusters to mimic as holly berries.
Added Woodgrain foiled mini stars to the wreath and NOEL tag to the shadow frame.
As a final touch, added Prima art stones and Mini art stones mixed with 3D gel, randomly applied on the wreath to give a frosty mood of the season.
Hope you like this simple Mixed media project!
